Manchester city have officially reached an agreement to extend the contract for another year with Bernardo silva, and the portuguese midfielder will continue to stick with the Etihad stadium team until 2026.
Director of football Txiki Begiristain delighted: “Bernardo has been exceptional during his time at the Etihad, so we are delighted that he has signed a contract extension with the club. His quality and technique is fantastic. fantastic – with his hard work and professionalism, he has become one of the best players in the world. Bernardo was very important in our treble season and we are sure. that he can help bring in even more titles over the next few years.”
For his part, the portuguese star said: “i’ve had an incredible six years at Man.city and i’m happy to extend my time here. Silva spent six seasons at Manchester city and was a mainstay there. There were many rumors that he would leave this summer to move to Barcelona, but in the end, coach pep Guardiola succeeded in convincing silva to stay.
