Traveling on the same plane as Lionel Messi, who bought a $32 million private jet, makes me realize that he values luxury but also knows how to spend wisely. Messi recently purchased a £12 million jet for himself and his family, ensuring they can travel in style and comfort. The plane even features personal touches, like the No 10 fin, representing his iconic Argentine number.
Lionel Messi has recently purchased a new private jet for himself and his family, spending a whopping £12 million on the luxurious aircraft. The interior of the jet includes stairs leading up to the main cabin that have been personalized with the names of Messi, his wife Antonela, and their three sons, Thiago, Ciro, and Mateo.
Reports suggest that the jet is equipped with 16 seats that can be transformed into eight beds, along with two bathrooms and a kitchen for convenience. Despite his busy schedule, Messi still found time to make a short appearance during Barcelona’s recent 1-1 draw with Tottenham in the Champions League, marking his 15th consecutive season playing for the Catalan team in the competition.
The opulent inside is equipped with comfortable reclining chairs and personal screens at each seat. As he gets accustomed to his new purchase for ultimate relaxation, he finds himself facing a challenge from an old adversary that may push him out of his comfort zone. When questioned about missing his former teammate from Argentina since joining Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo simply replied, “No, perhaps it is him who yearns for my presence. I’ve had the opportunity to play in various countries like England, Spain, Italy, Portugal and represent my national team, while he remains rooted in Spain.”
The airplane ramp has been personalized with the names of the entire Messi family.
“I think maybe he needs me more now. I thrive on challenges and love bringing joy to people,” explained Messi.
“He’s a phenomenal player and a great person, but I don’t have any regrets about leaving. I’ve embraced my new life in Turin and I’m content,” he added.
Leaving his comfort zone and taking on the challenge in Turin has been a success. “I have shown that I am still an exceptional player,” Messi concluded.
It is still uncertain if Messi will take up a new challenge like Ronaldo with his latest acquisition.
